  Book review 📚🔖 🌞My Rating - 4.8/5🌞 The book "Awaiting The Rare Rainbow" is a beautiful poetry book written by Manisha Rameshbabu.  This book is an anthology of lovely poetry blended with emotions as a whole. It consists of 21 poems that are centred on the basic theme of Hope and Anxiety.  I believe that where there is Anxiety, there lies Hope. Author has written these poems on that note where she talks about the hope in anxiety in such a connecting way.  These poems spoke things that were unsaid, emotions that were left unnoticed. On the whole, she had brought life to the words out of these poems which I personally connected myself with.  My favourite poems are : Solitude  Soul in Dark or Darkness in Soul? Is Hope Colorless Or My Eyes Color Blind? The book cover and title are so lovely and apt. The writing style is so soothing and can be connected personally well.   The book " Anńa, Hanu & the thump" is a cute illustrated children's fiction by Author Aditi Nagpal. The story is set in India but unlike others stories, it revolves around animals who are the protagonists in this book.  The main characters include the three mentioned in the title, namely Anna - the elephant, Hanu the monkey and Bapa - the Barapasauras. Anna is an intelligent and strong elephant who is considered the big brother among other animals who lives in the Banana Grove. The story talks about the married couple Rajat and Dolly. Dolly is Ill and hospitalised. We'll see Rajat who is more worried about his job than caring for his wife. And there dolly learns an important lesson from life. Dolly's overall view on her life changes and she herself. I like how author described the challenges and hardships faced by women in the day to day life. He also talks about menopause which brings a complete stop on menstruation and other changes in a woman's body. The book uses simple language to explain complex issues in woman's life. The story travels back and forth in time taking us to the period of 1946-1947, in which the Protagonist of the story - Harry was born, just a year before Independence. This book consists of a collection of 29 short stories which also has poems,phrases, and conversations.  So this book is the pick of the month in short stories category.  Author has talked his heart out through his book in a way that only readers can relate to. It talks about how one should see their life, thoughts on self, rape, society, futuristic thoughts and more. This book is purely based on Author's perspectives, it's more like an open talk to readers through this book. A good set of stories and interesting plot.  A professional and smooth naration with logical thought sharing. The Book title is apt while the cover looks so subtle. In short a short read within 100 pages. Overall it was a thoughtful read!

 📚 QOTD : Horror or Suspense- thriller? ⭐ My Rating - 4.6/5⭐  👻The book "Check In Check Out and the Horrors Within" is a horror-thriller written by Author Keran Pantt Joshi.  👻The stories are based on the Hotel Villagio in Tasmania.  The book is divided into two parts where the first half consists of a set of nine short stories while the second half is about the history of the Hotel.   👻All these stories are spine chilling thrillers of murder mysteries and the influential key factor was the suspense getting unravelled one by one. My personal favourite was the story named " The Follower on Instagram " which was all about the horror waiting behind the doors of following an Instagram account.  👻The title and the book cover was equally awesome. The stories were not very terrific and horrifying but to an extent, it was really interesting. The way the author has presented all these stories were quite impressive. Overall it was a happy read!

  📚 QOTD : What is your current state of mind? ⭐ My Rating - 4.3/5⭐ The book " The Influencer: Speed Must Have A Limit " was a suspense thriller written by Author Abhaidev . The story is about the protagonist Aditya, who is working as a secret influencer under WIS -  . His work is to negotiate deals by influencing people as a secret agent for the police, government and other such organisations. Being an influencer, it is of utmost importance to maintain all the informations confidentially. But once when his wife unfortunately finds out all about her husband and his works, the obstacles begins. Aditya has to run for his life since the confidential affairs are no more secret. So what happens to him further? Read it out! The writting style was lucid and easy to comprehend. However there were some less interesting parts of book as well. The cover and the title were of right choices and attention grabbing on the other hand. Overall it was a hooking read.

I finished writing NOTES TO THE BELOVED in 3 months but working on the second draft and the third draft takes time- anything close to 6 months for an 80 k plus book including the 2nd and 3rd draft with a gap of a few weeks between each draft.  3.
