When did you first realize that you want to be a writer ?  Ans-  I have been writing since I was in Class VII  and growing from there I wrote several articles over the years but the need to become a fiction writer surfaced later- around 2006.  2. How long does it take you to write a book? Ans-  It depends on what kind of book one is writing and how long or short it is. I finished writing NOTES TO THE BELOVED in 3 months but working on the second draft and the third draft takes time- anything close to 6 months for an 80 k plus book including the 2nd and 3rd draft with a gap of a few weeks between each draft.  3. What comes first, the plot or characters? Ans-  Both happen simultaneously.   4. Does your family support you ? Ans-  Yes, my family honors, appreciates & supports me as a writer. 5. Does this pandemic influence your writing in any way? Ans-  I feel the pandemic helped me find my real voice as a writer. I feel I h

  Book review 💯📖 ⭐ My Rating - 4/5⭐ The book " Sonnets to paradise " is a poetry fiction written by  Author   Nidra Naik . This book has its fictional story written along with sonnets. Most of them know what a poem is, but a very few know about Sonnets. It is nothing but a poem which is of 14 lines with a rhyming pattern. Now coming to the plot, it is a contemporary story which deals with two female leads named Nayanthara and Nicola, who are not connected to each other by any means but find ways to get linked to each other with the help of sonnets written by one among them. They both are quite different from each other and have their own differences yet the sonnets turns out to be a paradise that brings them together into a peaceful life they ever wanted to live in. In short this book is about the bonding between the protagonists in which the sonnets play a major role. The Cover looks feminine and attractive at a very first glance and the title does justice to the story.

She always spoke for the betterment of women and also started wearing khadi throughout her life and boycotting swadesi clothes.  She has faced lot of difficulties in her life yet she became the Iron lady of Assam. The author also mentions about her books ,poems and the people by whom she was inspired and among all, her father Ratiram Majumber h
