⭐My Rating - 4.3/5⭐

The book "The Acting MD - The greatest skill an Indian businessman needs is acting" is a fictional book written by author Vikram Mankal.

The story revolves around the protagonist named Pranav, a charming, budding and an handsome guy who is interested in acting.

The plotline here is about how the life of this charming guy into drastic one when he is forced to take up a career that he never wanted to step in. Though he loved acting and wanted to give a big shot in acting field, he falls into a situation where he has no choice but to take up his father's real estate business - The Pyramid Housing.

Although he has no experience in this prior, Pranav takes up this challenge and faces every single hardship one by one with zeal. He was under pressure, he was even betrayed by people in business, he saw what not? Only then the protagonist realises the real side of business which is filled with just shits and money minded beings.

But the next half of the book takes you into the book with it's fast paced narrative, talking about the opposite group - VNM group and also the new big project - The Indus City, which at any cost he has to make it successful.

Will he achieve the goal of this project successfully? Will he be able to go back to his passion as an actor once again? Read and find out your answers.

The narration was very good in this book bringing it real to our eyes. The B&W cover shows the negative side of business and the subtle meaning to the title. The writing style is appreciated but it lacked some interest inducing elements at places. And I guess there is a sequel to this book.Overall a very good attempt by author.
