The Cocktail of Love book review

 Book Review๐Ÿ’ซ

๐ŸŒŸMy Rating - 4.9/5๐ŸŒŸ

The book "The Cocktail of Love" is a beautiful love and friendship story written by Author Dhruv Maloo.

This story is more of like a practical life story where in the characteristics and the plot seems very much close to our own lives. The protagonist of the story are Samar and Ashna, who have built a good bonding within themselves as best friends.

Samar is a guy who does what his heart says who is a passionate cartoonist. While Ashna being a practical young lady, is a budding architect who is a very ambitious girl working hard towards uplifting her career.

Having a good bond with your best friend is always both an advantage and disadvantage since the amount of love we share might turn the relationship upside down when they fall in love. It might sometimes work out but sometimes give heart breaks. So here in this story Samar falls head over heels for Ashna and when he confronts his love to her, Ashna is at awestruck. She has always been career oriented and doesn't want her friendship with Samar to be ruined at any cost.

So this is an exact turning point of the story which I personally felt close. Being practical towards life, Ashna is very keen in making her decision as she doesn't want anything to fall apart just like that. She is now confused in deciding what yo do next as she also has feelings for him. Samar on the other hand, is ready to do anything for her. Will Ashna accept his love? Or will she deny his love for the sake of her career? What's next?

Read and find out the answers! The story seems very realistic and practical with author's simple narrative style. Im in love with the cover and the title and tats really why I picked up this book. Overall it was a too good book from a debut author.
