The Book "When the Mystic Meets a Starfish" is a poetry anthology by author Madhushree Das. 


A line that I loved from this book!!

"Blowing a Dandelion,

This book enchants with its moving verses, interlacing a mosaic of enchantment and contemplation. In a world where the core of genuine affection appears veiled, these poems emerge as a soothing remedy for bruised spirits, inviting readers to rediscover the enchantment lying dormant within. 


Each stanza serves as a beacon, illuminating the intricate maze of desolation, spurring on a voyage into the depths of one's essence. 


Author tries to convey her inner thoughts in the form of her poems. It clearly resonates with the readers and the way the author narrates certain things stands out in a unique way. I picked up this book because of its beautiful eye catchy cover which has a secret revelation of the story hidden in the cover which you can find if you notice sharply. When I started reading the book, I found that the main character's name was Ammara, which is my long term favt for no reason. It made it even more interesting. Coming to the plot, the story begins with a fight between Ammara and Raghav which literally ends up in breakup. I would say that they both were at fault!!
